Medicine of Cycling is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2012 Summer Conference to be held next year in Colorado Springs. The tentative dates for this conference are August 24-26, 2012. Medicine of Cycling and UCSF invite you to submit proposals now through December 31, 2011.
Proposals are sought for all interactive sessions. We hope to include some new topics next year, and proposals are encouraged in dermatology, nutrition, wound care, physical therapy/rehabilitation and recovery, general health and cycling and cycling with disabilities. Please note that our program is not limited to these topics. We welcome all proposals that address medical issues seen in cycling.
Proposals will be accepted in one of the following formats: lectures or workshops. To be considered, proposals must contain the following items:
- A complete outline of the presentation
- Five learning objectives for the presentation
- A speaker resume/CV
- A list of references from past conferences where the speaker has presented
Submitters will be notified by e-mail of their submission status in March 2012.
